GENERAL PEST MANAGEMENT COURSE

Our General Pest Management (GPM) course comprises three essential units from the CPP30119 Certificates in Urban Pest Management.

This course will equip both new and experienced students with the fundamental knowledge and skills required to become a licenced pest management technician.

Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a Statement of Attainment which can be submitted to your state licencing office to obtain your Pest Management Licence.

TERMITE AND TIMBER PEST MANAGEMENT COURSE

Our Termite and Timber Pest Management (TTPM) course comprises two essential units from the CPP30119 Certificates in Urban Pest Management. This course is designed to equip you with the necessary knowledge and skills to become a proficient licenced Termite and Timber Pest Technician.

We recommend completing the General Pest Management Course first.

Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a Statement of Attainment.

CPP30119 CERTIFICATE III IN URBAN PET MANAGEMENT

The CPP30119 Certificate III in Urban Pest Management comprises 10 units of competency.

This qualification reflects the role of pest management technicians who are required to identify common urban pests, assess pest problems, consider pest management options, develop pest management plans, liaise with customers and implement pest management strategies.

If you have already completed some units through the General Pest Management or Termite and Timber Pest Management courses, you can complete the remaining units to achieve the full CPP30119 Certificate III in Urban Pest Management.

ESTABLISH LEGAL AND RISK MANAGEMENT REQUIREMENTS OF NEW BUSINESS VENTURES

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to identify and comply with legal and risk management requirements of the business or new business venture, including negotiating, creating and planning for legal contracts used within the business, where required.

The unit applies to those establishing a business providing self-employment, as well as those establishing a new venture as part of a larger organisation.

This course is a requirement for any Pest Management Technician wanting to operate their own business in Queensland.
